Second meeting of November with the theme of “Christmas” as set by the wonderful Toastmaster of the night; Laura Paulakaite. 

The meeting was kicked off by our sergeant of arms Moez Adamjee, complete with gavel, who welcomed our club president Vivian Wong. Vivian as usual flawlessly took the stage injecting energy as a means to ensure this flowed throughout the evening, extending a warm welcome to the guests and making sure that our customs and protocol are understood – clapping and handshakes!

Cass Toastmasters’ first meeting of November had a theme “London” as set by the evening’s Toastmaster Laura Stoddart. We were provided with our members’ favourite places in London which included Regent’s Park, Albert Bridge, V&A, among others, and even somebody’s very own bed. What a mixed bunch!

Setting an energetic mood for the evening, our sergeant of arms Leslie Bediade welcomed the club president Vivian Wong. Vivian started the meeting by extending a warm welcome to the guests and making sure that everyone new the importance of warm and energetic applauds…

The 4th Monday of October was a night to remember!

Toastmasters at Cass was filled with members and numerous guests courtesy of our very successful PR event; CASS Business School fresher’s fair.

Kicking off the meeting was our lovely president Vivian Wong, with a mini intro covering the Toastmasters mission statement, who’s who, drum roll and clapping to help all the guests understand the formalities (all TM’s love a good loud CLAP!!).

Mondays are usually filled with post weekend blues but being the 2nd Monday of October, we had Toastmasters at Cass; which gave us the light at the end of the tunnel !!!

What an excellent evening it was from the energetic, humorous, first time Toastmaster of the evening Richard Glover, who orchestrated the whole evening from theme selection ‘Ultimate Fantasy’ to the initial intro complete with Hi-5’s to the conclusion. Superb!
